seeking autumn

Through trial and error, I’ve learned a few things about pursuing passions while raising children. Today I am guest posting at Mommyhood Next Right about balancing babies and dreams. While you’re over there, get to know Jessica, who is a mother to two girls under two. She offers an honest and insightful perspective on motherhood, and life. Her blog is a must-read for thinking mothers.

“Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.”

~George Eliot

Savor each day of this season, which passes in a blur. Play in the leaves. Carve a pumpkin. Bake a squash. Drink spiced apple cider. Make a costume. These are a few of my favorite autumn traditions. What are yours?
