Halloween is long gone, the candy witch has come to collect her tax, and I have yet to share our costumes. We generally buy them used, which is good because we also like to change our minds.
At first, they were happy as a one-eyed monster and a bumble bee.
Emile then managed to squeeze his long 5 year old body into a 2T costume, while Giovanna tested and swiftly rejected the elephant.
The bunny costume was much better suited to Gigi.
And Emile shunned the monster in favor of something a little friendlier.
While sifting through the toy boxes in search of Goodwill donations yesterday, as part of my continuous quest to declutter, Emile said, “shouldn’t we give away our old costumes?”
Atta boy. If only I could part with them.
