We stepped out of our cozy home this morning and into a mass of gray clouds, a day peaceful in its muted brightness. Nothing unusual for the Pacific Northwest.
Giovanna said, immediately, “it’s so sunny outside, mama!”
This was not a form of two year old sarcasm, this was sincere delight in the light of day.
Everything is a matter of perspective. When compared to the long winter night, a gray morning is sunny, indeed.
Like Wayne Dyer said, “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”
