When You Are Stuck

  Do one thing. Literally.

Walk down the block. Turn around.
Turn on a workout video. Tell yourself you don’t have to do it.
Text one friend one time. If she/he responds and you can’t respond back, that’s okay. [You did one thing.]
Go to a yoga class. Spend most of it in child’s pose.
Read one page. Just one. Put down the book.
Sing one line. [I dare you.]
Do one pushup. Do it on your knees if you must.
Write one poem or post or paragraph. Stop.
[Double dare you.]
